All patients in Stafford and its surrounding areas have the right to choose, in most cases, which hospital or service you go to for physical and mental health conditions. This includes NHS and private hospitals which operate under an NHS contract. You can also choose which clinical team led by a consultant or named healthcare professional you see. This is a legal right for patients and is part of the NHS Constitution. For more information please see:

As well as consultant led care, you can now choose which provider you see for a number of smaller community based services in Cannock Chase. We want to make sure that information is accessible to everyone. Patients, members of the public and staff can request reasonable adjustments, such as information in other formats. To request information in an alternative format such as braille, larger print, audio or other format or you may require additional support e.g. a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter to support you or you may need language support where your first spoken language is not English - please contact us.
