Simon Stevens has announced that local Clinical Commissioning Groups will now have the chance to co-commission primary care in partnership with NHS England.

Clinical Commissioning Groups will need to apply, describing the additional powers and responsibilities they would like to assume. Successful applicants will need to meet a number of tests, including showing they will help advance care integration, raise standards and cut health inequalities in primary care.
